On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted and injured a young Palestinian man while detaining him at the Tayasir military roadblock east of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers detained Abdul-Khaleq Abu Zeina at the roadblock and repeatedly assaulted him.
They added that the Palestinians suffered cuts and bruises before Palestinian medics rushed to the scene and moved him to a hospital.
The incident occurred when the soldiers detained several Palestinians at the roadblock while interrogating them and inspecting their ID cards.
