On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted and abducted a young Palestinian man after Israeli colonizers uprooted some trees and destroyed his crops in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Local media activist Osama Makhamra said the soldiers repeatedly struck the man, Farid Hamamda, causing various wounds before abducting him.

Makhamra added that Hamamda was defending his land in the Khallet Seder area after illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded it and uprooted olive trees and crops.

Masafer Yatta is subject to constant and escalating Israeli violations by the soldiers and the colonizers trying to occupy more Palestinian lands to build and expand the colonies in the area.

The attacks target the locals, including farmers and shepherds, their homes, water and irrigation wells, and even their livestock, and are meant to force Palestinians to leave the area.

Furthermore, an Israeli security guard shot a Palestinian woman before the soldiers abducted her children, near the rail station in the Sheikh Jarrah Palestinian neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, after alleging she attempted a stabbing attack.

Also, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians, including a child, and invaded a hospital in Jerusalem.

Earlier Sunday, Israeli soldiers abducted at least ten Palestinians and summoned for interrogation a man with Down Syndrome. in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
