On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted and injured a young Palestinian man in Huwwara town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and prevented Palestinian medics from reaching him before later allowing them to take him to the hospital.
Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Nablus office of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said the soldiers stopped a young man in Huwwara before repeatedly assaulting him, causing many cuts and bruises.
Jibril added that PRCS medics rushed to the area, but the soldiers refused to allow them to reach the wounded man; however, the medics refused to leave until they were allowed to take the Palestinian to Rafidia hospital in Nablus.
Also on Friday evening, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinians near Zabbouba town, west of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
In related news, the soldiers abducted three Palestinians near Jenin and Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank.
