On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers closed the main Jenin-Nablus Road near Silat ath-Thaher village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Media sources said the soldiers installed a military roadblock on the main road, not far from the evacuated Homesh colony, before stopping and searching dozens of Palestinian cars.

The soldiers also interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards before forcing them to leave.

In related news, the soldiers fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at Palestinian workers near the illegal Annexation Wall in Rommana village, northwest of Jenin.
