On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers assaulted a Palestinian man with special needs, resulting in fractures and bruises, and caused dozens of Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Local activist Mohammad Awad said the army attacked a nonviolent procession in solidarity with Nablus after the army killed eleven Palestinians, injured more than 102, six seriously, and caused more than 250 Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, and other minor wounds.
Awad stated that five Israeli soldiers assaulted a Palestinian man with special needs, Mohammad Khalil Abu Dayya, 35, causing fractures in his hand and concussion and bruises to various parts of his body before the medics rushed him to the Hebron governmental hospital.
The soldiers, who occupied rooftops of Palestinian homes, fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing dozen to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
