On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians during the weekly processions against the illegal Israeli colonialist activities, while Israeli colonizers also attacked several Palestinians before the soldiers fired many gas bombs at the locals, in several areas in the northern West Bank governorate of Nablus.
Media sources said the soldiers attacked dozens of Palestinian protesters in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, and fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics treated one Palestinian after the soldiers shot him with a gas bomb in the leg and five who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
PRCS medics also treated sixteen Palestinians who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation in Beita town, south of Nablus, during the weekly procession against the illegal colonialist activities.
The Palestinians have been holding ongoing processions on their lands in Sbeih Mountain in Beita and in Beit Dajan after a group of illegal Israeli colonizers installed an outpost atop the Mountain.
The soldiers injured thousands of Palestinians during these protests and killed several others, including children.
The Mountain, owned by the Palestinians, has significant strategic importance, especially since if the colonizers occupied it, the colony would lead to the annexation of 20 Dunams of Palestinian lands and would also lead to the isolation of a large area of Palestinian lands.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Huwwara, south of Nablus, leading to protests at the Salman Al-Farisi Junction, causing at least three Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
In Qaryout, south of Nablus, illegal paramilitary colonizers invaded Qaryout Spring and attacked many Palestinians before Israeli soldiers started firing gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians, who intercepted the attack and injured many of them.
It is worth mentioning that the colonizers frequently invade the area as part of their constant attempts to confiscate the spring and repeatedly broke the lock of a gate leading to it.
In related news, the soldiers attacked Palestinian protesters in Tuqu’ town, southeast of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at them. The army also attacked Palestinian shepherds in the town.
Also, Israeli colonizers hurled stones at many Palestinian cars in the Al-Mo’arrajat street between Jericho and Ramallah.
