On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured four Palestinians during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Morad Eshteiwi, the media coordinator of the Popular Committee in Kufur Qaddoum, said the Palestinians marched from the center of the village carrying Palestinian flags and chanting for ongoing popular resistance until liberation and independence.
The protesters also chanted against the escalating violations by the illegal colonizers targeting the Palestinians, their homes, lands, and their holy sites.
The soldiers attacked the procession with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Local medics provided treatment to four Palestinians who were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets and several others who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
