On Monday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians, including an elder who was dragged out of his car before the soldiers assaulted and abducted him, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said several army vehicles in Shuqba, west of Ramallah in the West Bank’s central part, closed several streets, leading to protests before the army fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot one Palestinian with live ammunition and four with rubber-coated steel bullets.
Also, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian elder near Deir Nitham village, northwest of Ramallah, after dragging him out of his car and repeatedly assaulting him.
Earlier Monday, the soldiers killed Bilal Ibrahim Qadah, 33, from Shuqba village, after shooting him near Deir Nitham.
In Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, the soldiers caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises, after the army invaded several villages in the governorate.
The soldiers invaded the Al-Arqa village west of Jenin, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The soldiers also invaded Palestinian olive orchards between Al-Arqa and At-Tarm and conducted massive searches.
Also, the soldiers abducted a young man while crossing the Al-Jalama military roadblock in his car northeast of Jenin and Ayman Rabah Bani Odah in the Al-‘Awja area near Jericho.
In addition, the soldiers fired many live rounds at a Palestinian car in the center of Jenin city, causing serious damage; the driver, his wife and his children escaped the attack unharmed, before the soldiers towed the car while withdrawing from Jenin.
Furthermore, the army invaded Jalboun, Beit Qad, and Faqqu’a near Jenin, installed roadblocks, attacked several Palestinians, and tried to ambush many residents.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers assaulted two Palestinian journalists, Mohammad Turkman, and Karim Khamaisa, while returning from Jenin, detained them for several hours, and punctured their car’s tires.
The soldiers also invaded Marda village, north of Salfit in the central West Bank, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at Palestinians, protesting the invasion.
Also in Nablus, the army invaded Awarta town, southeast of the city, and fired many gas bombs at homes, causing several Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Many paramilitary colonizers also invaded Awarta and, accompanied with Israeli soldiers, attacked dozens of Palestinians and fired live rounds at them and their homes, when they tried to fend off the invasion.
On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted eight Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the West Bank.
