On Sunday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinian schoolgirls in Kharbatha Bani Harith village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
Abdul-Jabbar Anjas, the head of Kharbatha Bani Hares Village Council, said several army jeeps invaded the town and parked near the two local elementary and secondary schools for girls.
He added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs at the schoolgirls just as they left their educational facilities, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also invaded and ransacked several shops in the area and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
