On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child near the “Tunnels” military roadblock, west of Beit Jala city in the West Bank’s governorate of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem.

The slain Palestinian child has been identified as Mustafa Taleb Ahmad Taleb, 17, from the Al-Walaja town, northwest of Bethlehem.

After shooting and seriously wounding the child, the soldiers left him to bleed to death without providing medical aid, under the pretext of “securing the area,” and closed the street in both directions.

The Israeli army claimed that the child approached the military roadblock on an electric bicycle before pulling a knife and attacking two Israelis, causing mild wounds, before the soldiers shot and killed him.

It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers killed Rami Hamdan Halhouli, 13, from Shu’fat refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, Zeid Khalaifa, 23, and Abdullah Assaf, 16, near Al-Jeeb town northwest of Jerusalem, in addition to Rabea’ Nourasi and Mahmoud Abu Al-Haija from Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

Israel has now killed 433 Palestinians, including 116 children, five elders, and one journalist, injured at least 4,700, Palestinians and abducted more than 7,619, in the occupied West Bank since October 7, 2023.

Fourteen of the slain Palestinians were killed by paramilitary Israeli colonizers, and eight were extrajudicially executed.

In the Gaza Strip, the Health Ministry said that Israel has now killed at least 31,272 Palestinians, (including at least 12,000 women) and injured more than 73,024, 72% of them are women and children, in several parts of the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
