On Wednesday, Day 159 of the ongoing Israeli onslaught and genocide of the Palestinians in the destroyed and devastated Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured hundreds in several parts of the coastal enclave.

Two Palestinians were killed, and four children were injured, all from the same family, after the army fired a missile at their home in the Daraj neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

The Israeli army also killed and injured many Palestinians after firing a missile at their home in the Salahuddin Street area, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza.

Furthermore, many Palestinians were injured, some seriously, in addition to several persons who remain under the rubble of a bombarded home in the Sahaba Street area, in Gaza City.

Several casualties were reported when the army fired a missile at a home in the center of Gaza City.

The Israeli army also fired barrages of missiles and shells at homes, buildings, and streets in the northern area of central Gaza, killing at least ten Palestinians, and injuring dozens.

Many Palestinians, including children, were killed and scores were injured, when the army fired a missile at a home for the Eid family in the Al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

It is worth mentioning that the Hamas movement denied reports claiming it received an international offer for an “extended ceasefire,” or that it dispatched a delegation to Cairo.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the plan to invade Rafah will be conducted as planned, and added that “Israel wants to finish the job” in what he called “its fight against Hamas,” despite the thousands of civilian casualties among the Palestinians, especially the children, in the Gaza Strip.

Several world countries, including the United States and its allies involved in the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in Gaza by aiding and abetting Israel, said Tel Aviv failed to present a credible plan to protect at least 1 million Palestinians trying to shelter there, yet continued their support to the ongoing genocide.

A day earlier, Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, stated that Israel has killed more Palestinian children in Gaza in just four months than all children killed in wars globally over the last four years.

Lazzarini stated that the number of Palestinian children killed by Israeli missiles, shells, and bullets in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, exceeds the number of slain children globally and described what is happening in Gaza as a “war on the children’s childhood and their future.”

He stated that based on data from the Palestinian Health Ministry and data by the United Nations, the number of slain children in Gaza between October 7, 2023, and February 29, 2024, is four times bigger than the number of children killed in wars globally over the last four years.

A chart published by Lazzarini revealed that Israel killed +12.300 Palestinian children in Gaza between October 7, 2023, and February 29, 2024, compared to 12.193 children killed globally in 2019-2022.

He called for stopping the war on Gaza and saving the lives of children amidst the ongoing Israeli onslaught.

It is worth mentioning that Israel has now killed +31.184, and injured +72.889 Palestinians (%72 of the victims are women and children) in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said many Palestinians remain buried under the rubble of bombarded buildings, on streets and in alleys, destroyed and isolated in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

At least 27 Palestinians, including children and babies, have died from hunger and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.
