Earlier Saturday, Israeli soldiers invaded Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, killed a Palestinian child, and injured two young men, one seriously, after shooting them with live fire.
Media sources said undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the town before many military vehicles invaded it from various directions.
They added that the army stormed and ransacked many homes, and deployed sharpshooters on rooftops, especially in the Zakarna neighborhood and near the Al-Hisba area, leading to protests.
The soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the Palestinians and their homes.
The director of the Ar-Razi Hospital in Jenin, Fawwaz Hammad, said the soldiers killed a child, Mo’tasem Nabil Abu ‘Aabed, 13, after shooting him with live fire.
Hammad added that the soldiers also shot two young men with live fire, including one who suffered life-threatening wounds.
After shooting the Palestinians, the army stopped Palestinian ambulances while rushing to the town, and prevented them from entering it.
During the invasions of homes, the soldiers abducted Sami Zakarna, and his son Mohammad, and caused serious damage to their home and the homes of Sami Zakarna, Ala’ Al-Hathnawi and Mohammad Nazzal.
