On Sunday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child in the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and shot six young men in Nablus city.
Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child, on Sunday evening, after invading the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus.
In a statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the child, Moataz Ahmad Abdel Wahab Madani, 17, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the bullets in Askar camp.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the vicinity of the Askar refugee camp, and fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, shooting and the child in the chest with live ammunition.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its ambulance crews transported the critically wounded child to the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where succumbed to his wounds.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli forces shot two Palestinian young men, after invading the city of Nablus on Sunday afternoon.
Media sources said occupation forces stormed the “Khalet al-Amoud” area in the eastern a part of Nablus city, and opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters.
The Health Ministry stated that two young men were transported to the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus after sustaining live gunshot wounds to their lower limbs.
Furthermore, Israeli soldiers shot four Palestinian young men, after invading the Old City of Nablus, at dawn Sunday.
The PRCS reported that its ambulance crews transported four young men to the hospital after sustaining live gunshot wounds, including one in the abdomen and another in the hand.
Media sources said that a large army force stormed Nablus city from several directions and deployed soldiers in the Old City.
Sources added that occupation forces invaded the Askar and New Askar refugee camps, east of the city, while breaking into and ransacking many citizens’ homes.
In related news, Israeli forces stormed the village of Burin and the town of Sebastia in the Nablus governorate, on Sunday afternoon.
Media sources said that occupation forces invaded Burin village, south of Nablus, erected a flying military roadblock in the center of the village, and forced shops owners to close their businesses.
Northwest of the city, a large army force stormed the town of Sebastia, and positioned their military vehicle throughout the town; no arrests were reported.
In related news, occupation forces assassinated the citizen, Hassan Ali Hassan Rabaya, 37, on Sunday, after besieging his home in the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 839 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 173 children, and injured 7,000.
The distribution of those killed in the West Bank is as follows; 225 in Jenin, 196 in Tulkarem, 95 in Nablus, 77 in Hebron, 67 in Tubas, 59 in Ramallah, 50 in occupied Jerusalem, 33 in Qalqilia, 21 in Bethlehem, 12 in Jericho, 12 inside Israel, and 4 in Salfit.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 45,805 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are women and children, and injured 109,064 citizens, while the bodies of thousands of citizens remain buried under the rubble of the devastated coastal enclave.
