Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man, on Monday, in the village of Janba, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that occupation forces shot Eyad Ayed Abed Najjar, 46, with a live round to the head, killing him instantly.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers opened fire with live rounds towards Najjar, while he was near the illegal Apartheid Wall, built on citizens’ lands in Janba village.
The Palestinian is a day laborer who was working to feed his family and was heading to work in historic Palestine.
In related news, Israeli soldiers killed Odai Nizar Nimir Abu Na’sa (Troush), 27, and the child, Mos’ab Hassan Ali Moqasqas, 17, after opening fire at their vehicle near the northern entrance of Salfit, in the central West Bank.
The Palestinian detainee, Zaher Tahseen Youssef Raddad, 19, succumbed to serious gunshot wounds he sustained during an Israeli military attack against the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp on July 23, 2024.
Another Palestinian young man was shot and killed by Israeli forces near the Al-Jalamah military roadblock, north of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Soldiers killed the young man, Ahmad Mohammad Khalil Al-Anteer, 18, after opening fire on his vehicle, before abducting him and two others.
Israeli forces have now killed 645 Palestinians, including 148 children, and injured 5,400 in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military has killed 40,405 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and injured 93,468 since the beginning of its military onslaught on October 7, 2023, while thousands remain under the rubble.
