On Sunday night, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said several military vehicles invaded the refugee camp, leading to protests, especially in the area near the permanent military roadblock at its main entrance.
They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters and the surrounding homes.
Medical sources have confirmed that the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the leg, causing a moderate wound.
The soldiers gathered in large numbers in the refugee camp, especially the main entrance area, and closed it, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it.
On Sunday night, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers invaded Burqa village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, leading to protests, before the army shot six Palestinians with live fire, one seriously.
Also Sunday, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian woman, Labiba Faze’ Sidqi Ghannam, 43, after an alleged stabbing attempt at the “Hamra” military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley.
Media sources said that occupation forces shot a woman with live rounds after she allegedly attempted a stabbing at the military roadblock.
After shooting the woman, soldiers prevented ambulance crews from approaching her, and closed the roadblock in both directions.
In related news, the soldiers shot and killed two Palestinian teens, Mohammad Majid Mousa Jabarin, 19, and Mousa Mahmoud Mousa Jabarin, 18, near Hebron in the southern West Bank, after they allegedly carried out a shooting and attempted stabbing.
