Israeli forces shot and killed, on Tuesday, a Palestinian young man at the Beit Furik military roadblock, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
On Tuesday afternoon, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian teen after he allegedly tried to carry out an attack against soldiers.
The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Ministry of Health that an Israeli soldier killed the young man, Muhammad Saud Abdullah Al-Teety, 18, at the Beit Furik military roadblock, southeast of Nablus.
Media sources said that after shooting the teen, the army prevented the ambulance from reaching the injured young man, while he lay bleeding on the ground.
After the shooting, the army closed the Beit Furik military roadblock and sent in additional reinforcements to the area.
According to the Times of Israel, the young man was shot dead after he allegedly approached the army post with a gun.
It added that the young man did not open fire and did not injure any soldiers, however instead of arresting him, soldiers shot him.
The Israeli army also claimed that the teen was also armed with a knife.
It is important to mention that the young man’s father, Saud Al-Titi, was killed by occupation soldiers in the Deir Al-Hatab area, east of Nablus on April 11, 2023.
Later a video was released showing the young man’s mother walking near the army vehicles, crying out, “I can’t live without him.” after she was informed about the death of her son, while a soldier pointed his weapon at her.
