Four Palestinians were shot and injured, Friday, at the weekly anti-settlement march in the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northern West Bank, according to a local official.

Morad Eshteiwi, coordinator of the Popular Committee in Kufur Qaddoum, told Palestinian WAFA News Agency that Israeli forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear-gas canisters at the crowds.

Four Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated rounds, and many other suffocated on tear-gas, all injuries were treated at the scene.

The Israeli authorities, in 2003 closed the main road that connected the village with Nablus city to the east, in order to serve the illegal Israeli settlers.

Locals from the area have demonstrated every Friday for 16 years to express their opposition to the road closure, and the illegal Israeli colonies on Palestinian-owned lands.
