Earlier Tuesday, Israeli soldiers shot one Palestinian and abducted two in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Media sources said undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the refugee camp but were soon noticed before many military jeeps invaded it, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.
Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Nablus office of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot a young man in the face.
Jibril added that the young man suffered moderate-to-severe wounds before the medical team rushed him to a hospital in Nablus.
The soldiers also stormed and ransacked several homes, and abducted Mohammad Tanji and Adel Abu Leil, before withdrawing from the refugee camp.
In related news, the soldiers invaded the Ta’awon area and the former headquarters of the Palestinian Preventative Security, in Nablus City, and conducted searches.
