Israeli forces shot two Palestinian children, on Monday, after invading the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Askar camp on Monday afternoon, and opened fire with live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at citizens.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that their ambulance crews transported two children; a 13-year-old was shot in the thigh with live rounds, and a 14-year-old child sustained a shrapnel wound in the thigh.
In related news, occupation forces invaded the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, and stormed several citizens’ homes.
According to Ziad Abu Omar, the head of the village council said that a large army force invaded the village for the second time Monday, stormed several citizens’ homes, and fired concussion grenades.
Abu Omar added that the army stormed the village before dawn, breaking into many homes, searching and ransacking them, before withdrawing at 6 am.
