On Saturday, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinians, including one child, with live fire, in Tubas City, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part, and abducted five Palestinians in the city and in Hebron.
Several military vehicles invaded the city from its eastern areas, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
The Israeli vehicles, including an armored military bulldozer, invaded the area after undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated it to ambush Palestinian protesters.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot a young man and a child with live fire in their lower extremities before the medics rushed them to a hospital in Tubas.
In addition, the soldiers surrounded a home and used loudspeakers to demand a young man leave the property and surrender to the army.
The army invaded and ransacked homes in the city, before abducting Sa’id Nasser Daraghma, Ali Mahmoud Al-‘Arian, and Anas Amer Abu Shamla.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Tarqoumia town, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, before abducting Anas and his brother Mohammad Husam Mojahed from their home.
Earlier Saturday, Israeli soldiers invaded Qabatia town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, killed a Palestinian child, Mo’tasem Nabil Abu ‘Aabed, 13, and injured two young men, one seriously, after shooting them with live fire.
Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 455 Palestinians, and injured 7,619, including children, in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023.
In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has killed at least 32,623 Palestinians and injured 75,092, mostly women, children, and elderly. in addition to the thousands of Palestinians who remain under the rubble of bombarded homes, and buildings, on the streets and in alleys of various parts of the devastated coastal enclave since October 7.
