On Saturday, Day 176 of the ongoing genocide, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the destroyed, besieged, and starved Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, and wounding many more.

The army fired barrages of missiles and shells at many areas in the Gaza Strip, especially in the Mighraqa and Az-Zahra areas, in the northern part of Gaza’s central district, in addition to many areas east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, and the southern parts of Gaza City, while the Israeli navy fired dozens of missiles at many areas near the shore of Nusseirat in central Gaza.

In addition, the army continued to wire and detonate all homes and buildings surrounding Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis.

Al-Jazeera said the Israeli army carried out massive bombings overnight in the central and northern parts of the Gaza Strip, further displacing Palestinians and increasing civilian casualties.

The army also fired missiles and destroyed residential buildings in both the Nusseirat and the Al-Maghazi refugee camps, in addition to Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

Al-Jazeera said the Israeli attack in Deir Al-Balah targeted areas that the Palestinians were initially told were safe zones, and added that Palestinian medics and Civil Defense teams are facing numerous obstacles in reaching the bombarded areas.

The search under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings is done by hand with the help of the local families as the equipment they were previously using has either been bombed and destroyed or ran out of fuel.

In northern Gaza, the army fired dozens of missiles at many homes and buildings in the northern parts of the Gaza Strip, causing dozens of casualties.

The attacks came just hours after the army fired a missile at Palestinian police officers in the Salahuddin Street area, near the Sheja’eyya neighborhood in Gaza, killing at least seventeen and wounding dozens.

The police force that was attacked was in charge of ensuring and securing the delivery of humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, food, and water, however, the army has been repeatedly attacking aid trucks and teams, resulting in dozens of casualties.

Furthermore, Palestinian resistance fighters said they killed and injured many Israeli soldiers after targeting their tanks with shells near Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and during exchanges of fire with special Israeli forces near the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

The Israeli army said one soldier was killed and sixteen were injured, and added that the number of wounded soldiers in Gaza since last Sunday is 81.

In related news, the Biden administration approved a $2.5 Billion deal to provide Israel with weapons and fighter jets, which it will use in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.

The deal includes sending Israel bombs and warplanes to use in its ongoing onslaught on Gaza despite increasing criticism regarding the U.S, aid to Israel, and the fact that it is using American weapons and Tax payers money to continue the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Jazeera English said the package of U.S. aid to Israel includes 1.8000 MK84 2.000-pound bombs, 500 MK82 5.000-pound bombs, and 25 F-35 fighter jets and engines, and added that the 2.000-pound bombs can inflict casualties as far as 1.000 feet (300 Meters) away and that Israel has already been using similar bombs in attacks that led to hundreds of casualties.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the Israeli army has killed 26 of its staff and medics, including 15 who were deliberately targeted while evacuating and trying to rescue wounded Palestinians, since October 7.
