On Thursday, Israeli forces shot two Palestinians, including a child, after storming the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds, shooting two citizens.

The sources added that a 17-year-old child and a young man were shot with live ammunition, one of whom was shot twice, once in the abdomen and once in the hand, while the other sustained a gunshot wound to the leg; they were both transported to the hospital in stable condition.

According to the Jalazone Center for Community Media, local youths confronted the invading army, who stormed several citizens’ homes while firing many live rounds and concussion grenades, before withdrawing.

According to the Shireen Observatory, Israeli forces have killed at least 1,033 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
