Israeli Troops Detain Eleven Palestinians, Shoot One, Assault Three

Israeli forces, on Wednesday, attacked Palestinian young men in the old city of occupied East Jerusalem, Quds News Network reported.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers assaulted 3 Palestinian youths from the Salaymeh family in the old city, arresting them afterward.

Soldiers shot a Palestinian young man, on Wednesday, identified as Adnan Maali, and detained him near the separation barrier in Tulkarem, the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) reported. The condition of the youth was not known at the time of reporting.

Israeli forces reportedly invaded the homes of several Palestinian civilians across the West Bank, and detained 3 Palestinian youths, 18 to 21 years old, were abducted from Tulkarem, the 18 year old was later released.

The PPS added that Israeli forces abducted 4 more Palestinians, 1 from near Jenin, 1 from Bethlehem, 1 from Ramallah and 1 from Jericho.

According to Addameer, Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association states that Israel holds 183 Palestinian children under the age of 18 in prison, including 20 under the age of 16.
