Israeli forces continued, for the 180th consecutive day, to violate the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 11th, 2025, in the Gaza Strip, carrying out artillery and naval bombardments and opening heavy fire toward several areas across the enclave.

Field reports confirmed that the attacks included the demolition of homes, strikes on displacement shelters, and further restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid through the Rafah Crossing, deepening the already severe humanitarian crisis.

Military vehicles opened sustained fire east of Gaza City, while artillery shells struck the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Additional shelling was reported in areas east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip.

The Israeli navy also fired barrages of live rounds at Palestinian fisherman sailing close to the shore of Gaza, trying to fish to feed their families amidst hunger and dire conditions in the devastated coastal enclave.

WHO Halts Medical Evacuations After Staff Member Killed

The World Health Organization announced the suspension of medical evacuation operations from Gaza to Egypt through the Rafah Crossing until further notice, following the killing of one of its contracted staff members.

The suspension further limits access to life‑saving treatment outside Gaza and adds to the suffering of thousands of wounded and chronically ill patients.

Casualties Continue to Rise

Medical sources in Gaza reported on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli assault has risen to 72,312 Palestinians killed and 172,134 injured since October 7, 2023. Hospitals received 10 Palestinians killed and 44 wounded in the past 24 hours alone.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, the number of Palestinians killed has reached 733, with 2,034 wounded, while rescue teams have recovered 759 bodies from beneath the rubble.

Medical teams warn that many victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are often unable to reach them due to ongoing Israeli fire and the destruction of access routes.
