Throughout July, Israeli occupation forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers intensified their violations and displacement across the occupied West Bank, conducting more than 1,821 violations, a report by the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission.
Coordinated Assaults by Soldiers And Colonizers
Of the recorded incidents, Israeli military units were responsible for 1,355 attacks, while paramilitary colonizers conducted 466.
Targeted regions included Ramallah (302 incidents), Hebron (300), and Nablus (293). Violations ranged from lethal invasions and home demolitions to land confiscations and infrastructural fragmentation.
Colonizers’ violence surged across rural communities, especially Bedouin areas, resulting in the killing of four Palestinians in Silwad, Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya, and Umm al-Khair, and the forced expulsion of two Bedouin hamlets, Arab Al-Mleihat in Jericho, and Deir ‘Alla in Bethlehem, displacing 267 individuals across 50 families.
These events bring the total number of expelled Bedouin communities to 33 since October 2023.
Environmental and Agricultural Devastation
The colonizers cut, uprooted or poisoned 2,844 trees, the majority being olive groves, 2,647 trees uprooted in Bethlehem (1,800), Nablus (640), and Jenin (320). In addition, 232 incidents of vandalism and theft targeted Palestinian farms and private lands.
An alarming push to install 18 new colonial outposts, many agricultural, was documented, with Hebron facing the bulk (five outposts), alongside new encroachments in Salfit, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho, Tubas, and Jenin.
Strategic Land Confiscation and Colonialist Expansion
Israeli occupation authorities issued five military orders to confiscate 31 dunams of land, including buffer zones around existing outposts and new colonial infrastructure routes.
Targeted areas included Al-Khader and Arab al-Ta’amra (Bethlehem), Kafr al-Lubbad (Tulkarem), Shiokh, Sa’ir (Hebron), and Jinsafut (Qalqilia).
Israeli colonialist “Planning and Construction Committee” also approved 22 blueprints for colonies in the occupied West Bank, while 12 others were under review.
These plans laid out the construction of 4,492 new colonialist units, with another 1,095 pending approvals, spanning 5,268 dunams.
In Jerusalem, five additional plans within the municipality’s boundaries proposed 260 new units on 46 dunams, though none have yet received final clearance.
Zoning maps revealed strategies to “legalize” illegal outposts surrounding Eli settlement, including Nof Harim and Neve Shoham, and expand the footprint of Ma’ale Amos via plans targeting Arab Al-Rashaida lands in Bethlehem. Other outposts like Givat Hanan are set to be formalized with 107 housing units on 132 dunams.
Home Demolitions and Forced Payment
Occupation authorities demolished 122 Palestinian structures, including 60 inhabited homes, during 75 demolition attacks concentrated in Jerusalem (53), Ramallah (22), and Bethlehem (18).
They also delivered 33 demolition notices, mostly in Bethlehem (19), alongside notices in Hebron, Qalqilya, Tubas, Tulkarm, and Jerusalem.
The Commission noted an intensifying pattern: Palestinians are increasingly being forced to pay for the destruction of their own homes, as recently occurred in Masafer Yatta, highlighting the deepening financial and psychological toll of systematic displacement.
It is worth mentioning that, on Saturday evening, Illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers and occupation forces shot, killed a Palestinian young man, Mo’in Sobhi Mohammad Asfar,23, and wounded eight others, on Saturday evening, after invading the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 192 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 37 children and 6 women.
Occupation forces have killed 65 Palestinians in Jenin, 34 in Nablus, 27 in Tubas, 17 in Tulkarem, 15 in Hebron, 12 in Ramallah, 9 in Bethlehem, 5 in Jerusalem, 4 in Qalqilia, 3 in Salfit, and 1 in Jericho.
