Israeli forces continued, for a second day, its military assault on the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, injuring four citizens, one critically, and abducting at least seven, including two women.
11:18 PM – Tuesday
- Israeli forces pushed military reinforcements to the city of Jenin and its camp, on Tuesday night, storming the northern entrance of the city with several occupation vehicles.
- Bulldozers destroyed streets near the Ibn Sina Hospital, at the entrance to the Jenin Governmental Hospital, and the vicinity of the Horse Roundabout at the entrance to the Jenin refugee camp.
9:34 AM – Wednesday
- Occupation forces abducted the injured young man, Ashraf Bahar, his father, and his brother, from the Jenin refugee camp and occupied a citizen’s home, converting it to a military barrack.
- Occupation bulldozers destroyed a street at the entrance to the Jenin Governmental Hospital, and closed its entrances with earth mounds, in addition to bulldozing the surroundings of Ibn Sina Hospital, and destroying the streets in the city and its camp.
- The army maintained a tight siege of the Jenin refugee camp, closing all entrances and preventing citizens from leaving, while sharpshooters were positioned in its vicinity.

- The Mayor of Jenin, Mohammad Jarar, told the WAFA News Agency that soldiers forced Palestinian residents in the Jenin refugee camp to evacuate the area after ordering them via loudspeakers.

- The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that a citizen was critically injured when an Israeli soldier shot him wth live ammunition at the Cinema Roundabout in the city of Jenin
- The PRCS added that another citizen, aged 50, was shot and injured by the army while he was in the “Khalat al-Sawha” area in the Jenin camp.
- A citizen sustained a shrapnel injury from live rounds in the head, while another was run over, the details of the injury was not known at the time of writing this report; all those who sustained injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment.
4:34 PM
- On Wednesday afternoon, the army carried out a large-scale arrest campaign in the Jenin refugee camp, abducting four citizens, including two women, both of whom are the mothers of young men slain by the occupation.
- Soldiers abducted the mother of the slain, Mahmoud Al-Saadi, and Ferial Al-Saadi, the mother of the slain, Ashraf Al-Saadi, in addition to two young men, identified as Naseem Salah and Alaa Tawalbeh.
The Ma’an News Agency reported that armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army and targeted their military vehicles with an explosive device in the Jenin camp.
