Israeli forces executed two Palestinian young men, on Wednesday evening, after bombing a citizen’s home in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
On Thursday morning, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the deaths of the two young men, Qutaiba Walid Ahmad Shalabi, 30, and Mohammad Asad Mahmoud Nazzal, 25, adding that the army confiscated the bodies of the slain young men.
Media sources said that an undercover Israeli force infiltrated the town and besieged a citizen’s home in Burqin town, followed by military reinforcements, including heavy machinery.
Hassan Sobh, the town’s Mayor, told the WAFA News Agency that the Israeli army used women and children as human shields, demanding they evacuate the building over loudspeaker.
The army then opened heavy fire at the home, fired “Energa” anti-tank grenades at it, and carried out several drone strikes, executing the two young men, and detaining their bodies.
The Quds News Network published videos of heavy gunfire and explosions in the town, and reveals occupation bulldozers demolished the remaining parts of the home.
Armed Palestinian resistance fighters confronted the attacking army with live rounds and explosive devices, there are unconfirmed reports of injuries among Israeli soldiers.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the owner of the bombed home, a 60-year-old citizen was transported to hospital after soldiers shot him in both of legs with live ammunition.
Israeli forces continued, for a second day, its military assault on the northern West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, injuring four citizens, one critically, and abducting at least seven, including two women.
On Tuesday, nine Palestinians were killed, including a child, and dozens were injured, including at least three doctors, as a result of a large-scale Israeli attack on the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp.
In related news, the army invaded the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, surrounded a home, abducted three citizens and assaulted two others on Wednesday night.
Media sources said that Palestinians confronted occupation forces who stormed the town and besieged a home, followed by military reinforcements.
Sources added that soldiers abducted the young men, Ahmad Salah, Khaled Abbas, and Qassam Hanaysha, while the PRCS reported that two young men were assaulted by Israeli soldiers.
Also on Wednesday evening, Israeli forces stormed the villages of Fahma and Kafr Ra’i, southwest of Jenin, fired tear gas canisters at citizens who protested the incursion.
Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired tear gas at the citizens, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
On Wednesday morning, occupation forces stormed the village of Misilyah, south of the city, and arrested the two brothers, Baha Abu al-Rob and Baraa Abu al-Rob.
