Israeli occupation forces invaded multiple areas across the occupied West Bank, Wednesday, breaking into homes and abducting at least ten Palestinians from villages south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, in addition to many others from Jenin, Tulkarem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Salfit, and Hebron.
In the Nablus district in the northern West Bank, occupation soldiers invaded the villages of Burin, Madama, Asira al‑Qibliya, and Tell, breaking into numerous homes and abducting Nassar Ishtayeh, Luay al‑Bahti, Omar Othman Ramadan, Osama Ramadan, and Abdul‑Razzaq Yameen.
Media sources said the soldiers accompanied a group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers who invaded Palestinian agricultural lands near Burin.
Soldiers also abducted Yasser Sidqi ‘Andi and his son Tamer, along with Amro Zaben during the invasion of Burin. Bashir Ziyada was abducted from Madama, while Ahmad Mohammad Abu Khalaf and Odah Taha Yassin were taken from Asira al‑Qibliya.
Occupation forces later invaded Al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya, south of Nablus, deploying more than fifty soldiers and military vehicles. Troops broke into dozens of homes and interrogated residents.
During protests near Burin, soldiers fired live rounds toward Palestinian youths confronting a gathering of illegal Israeli colonizers on the village’s outskirts.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, occupation forces invaded the eastern neighborhood of the city, broke into the home of Bahaa al‑Fallo, ransacked it, and abducted him.
Military vehicles spread through several streets, breaking into additional homes before withdrawing. Soldiers also installed a military roadblock at the Arraba roundabout south of Jenin, obstructing Palestinian movement.
In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, occupation forces invaded the town of Far’un and the village of Saida, breaking into homes and abducting Tareq Nael Omar from Far’un and Mo’taman Ahmad Odah, 25, from Saida.
In Ramallah and al‑Bireh in the central West Bank, soldiers invaded several neighborhoods, including al‑Tira and Ramallah al‑Tahta, and also invaded Beitunia to the west. Troops broke into a home in Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, conducting searches before withdrawing.
In Salfit in the central West Bank, occupation forces abducted former political prisoner Farid Jamal Diyab during a peaceful sit‑in held by residents protesting a newly established colonial outpost on lands belonging to Deir Istiya in the northwestern part of the governorate.
In occupied Jerusalem, soldiers repeatedly assaulted a young Palestinian man after stopping him, causing cuts and bruises.
In the Bethlehem district in the southern West Bank, occupation forces invaded Tuqu’, breaking into and searching several homes belonging to Atallah al‑Amour and Jawdat Saber al‑Amour, among others, before withdrawing without reported abductions. Soldiers also invaded Beit Sahour east of Bethlehem.
Later, occupation forces invaded Za’tara east of Bethlehem, surrounded a home, broke into it, and abducted Mohammad Ahmad Abu Rayya, while also confiscating his vehicle.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, a Palestinian man was shot and another abducted during an invasion of Beit Ummar, north of the city.
Media activist Mohammad Awad said Israeli undercover soldiers forces disguised in civilian clothing infiltrated the al‑Baq’a area, opened live fire at Walid Hani Ikhleil, 55, as he exited his home, injuring him in the abdomen and leg.
He was transferred to a nearby hospital. The same unit then surrounded a home and abducted Mohammad Nabil Mohammad Ekhlayyel, 25.
