Israeli forces abducted, on Monday, at least four Palestinian citizens, including a child and a journalist, in various regions of the occupied West Bank, and assaulted others, including a journalist.
On Monday morning, Israeli forces invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, and abducted two Palestinian young men.
According to Eid Barahma, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Jericho, said that occupation forces stormed the camp and abducted the citizens, Mohammad Tayseer Ibrahim Nimr and Mohammad Ismail Saqr Abu Dahuk.
In the northern West Bank, occupation forces stormed, onMonday afternoon, the village of Al-Jalama, and the Al-Jalama military roadblock, sparking protests.
Media sources said that the army conducted a large-scale search operation in the village, and fired live ammunition, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion; no injuries were reported.
Palestinians gathered at the Al-Jalama roadblock in solidarity with the people of Gaza, while soldiers detained, interrogated, and assaulted two young men identified as Mohammad and Mahmoud Abu Al-Rub.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces assaulted the journalist, Ahmed Al-Safadi, and denied him entry into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Another journalist, Ahmed Jalajel, was abducted by Israeli forces and was also prevented from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Furthermore, in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, occupation forces stormed and ransacked the home of the child, Maan Moataz Ahmed Al-Alami, 17, before abducting him and taking him to the “Etzion” military camp.
In related news, occupation forces abducted, at dawn on Monday, five Palestinians, including a child, from their homes in several parts of the Hebron governorate.
