Another Palestinian journalist, Eman Ahmed Al-Zamli, was killed by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip on Monday.

Israeli occupation forces directly shot at Palestinian journalist Hani Abu Riziq and his colleagues while they were interviewing a displaced Palestinian woman in Gaza today.

9 Palestinians died of starvation, including 3 children, during the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition to 348, including 127 children.

The Director of the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned, in statements to Al Jazeera, that the Strip is facing an unprecedented health and humanitarian catastrophe as slow death spreads among the population due to displacement, water contamination, and the collapse of the healthcare system.

The Director explained that nearly half of the laboratories are completely out of service, while the sector lacks facilities capable of testing viruses.

He added that the tragic situation is worsening with the daily increase in victims of starvation, while “occupation robots” continue to spread death across the Strip. He stressed that the occupation has caused injuries to around 40,000 children in Gaza, describing it as a catastrophe whose impact will haunt future generations.

The Guardian reported on Monday that the leaked US “Gaza Riviera” Plan sparks outrage as an attempted cover for ethnic cleansing.

A leaked White House prospectus proposes transforming Gaza into a high-tech “Gaza Riviera,” displacing its 2 million residents under a U.S. trusteeship.

The 38-page plan, called GREAT, suggests “voluntary” relocation, tiny housing for those who stay, and expropriation of land, prompting human rights warnings of ethnic cleansing and war crimes.

Critics, including Israeli media and legal experts, call the plan “insane” and unrealistic, denying Palestinian sovereignty while appealing to Trump-era figures and investors. Hamas and Palestinian officials rejected it, insisting “Gaza is not for sale.”

Samir Zaqout, 11, was playing in his room when an Israeli drone entered his home in Gaza and detonated inside, causing the amputation of his foot and hand.

He is now in critical condition and suffering from malnutrition.

A number of Palestinians were killed and injured by Israeli forces, since before dawn on Monday, as a result of the occupation’s bombing of various parts of the Gaza Strip, with the continued bombing of homes in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

Wafa news correspondents reported that five citizens were killed and others were injured in the occupation’s bombing of a residential apartment on Al-Nafaq Street, north of Gaza City.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society staff were able to restart the cardiac catheterization department at Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City, through the extensive efforts of specialized medical staff and engineers. This allows the hospital to resume heart catheterization surgeries.

This step is essential support for the health sector, which suffers from a severe shortage of advanced medical services, in light of the catastrophic collapse of the health sector in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide.

Medical teams succeeded in performing 3 cardiac catheterization operations during the past 48 hours, while 3 more operations are expected to be performed during the day, despite the difficult circumstances and the lack of medicines and vital medical supplies. This step is doubly important in light of the closure of the crossings to thousands of patients and preventing them from traveling for treatment outside the Gaza Strip.

The Health Ministry reported that 98 Palestinians were killed and 404 injured over the past 24 hours. Since March 18, when Israeli forces violated the ceasefire agreement, the cumulative toll has reached 11,426 fatalities and 48,619 injuries.

The Ministry also confirmed that 46 of the fatalities and 239 of the injuries in the past 24 hours were among civilians attempting to access humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of aid-related casualties to 2,294 deaths and 16,839 injuries, underscoring the deadly risks faced by those seeking basic sustenance.

Hospitals in Gaza documented nine new deaths from famine and malnutrition in the last 24 hours, including three children. The total number of famine-related deaths has now climbed to 348, among them 127 children, reflecting the catastrophic impact of Israel’s blockade and the collapse of essential services.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 63,557 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 160,660 others, in an incomplete toll, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
