Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem earlier Monday, breaking into homes, abducting civilians, and setting up military roadblocks that disrupted daily life in several districts.

In Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, soldiers set up a military roadblock in the town of Battir, west of the city, stopping vehicles, searching them, and checking the IDs of passengers, which caused heavy traffic congestion.

The forces also issued a stop-work order against the construction of a home in Wadi al-Hummus, northeast of Bethlehem, claiming it lacked a permit.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, occupation forces abducted three Palestinians after violently assaulting them; Mohammad Mahmoud Muheisen and Muhammad al-Qassas from the al-‘Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron, and Akram Walid Amro from the village of al-Majd.

Troops broke into and ransacked homes, confiscated al-Qassas’s vehicle, and beat the men severely.

Later, soldiers invaded the city of Hebron and the towns of Beit Awwa and Halhul, breaking into homes, detaining residents, and vandalizing property.

In Al-Majd village near Doura town, southwest of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Akram Walid Amro, a student at the Polytechnic College.

The army also closed the main street leading to Salama village near Doura, completely obstructing Palestinian traffic.

Several military roadblocks were set up at the entrances to Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, while main and secondary roads were sealed with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.

In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked the home of Sheikh Sa’id al-‘Amour, 61, destroying property and physically assaulting him.

Soldiers then abducted al-‘Amour, transferring him to the Susiya military camp where he was held for hours before being released.

He was later hospitalized in Yatta for treatment of his injuries. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed treating another elderly man injured by colonizers in the same area.

Armed colonizers also carried out provocative tours among Palestinian homes in Khallet al-Fara, west of Yatta, photographing residences and the rubble of three homes demolished by Israeli forces days earlier.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Turmus Ayya and the nearby village of Kafr Malik, spreading throughout residential areas. No abductions were reported.

However, in the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah, soldiers broke into a home and abducted 23-year-old Ali Abdo Eid al-Barghouthi after searching the property.

Ali Hannoun

In Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya, north of Ramallah, Israeli soldiers abducted Sheikh Ali Hannoun, a blind man, from his home.

In occupied Jerusalem, forces stormed the village of Beit Ijza, northwest of the city, breaking into homes and abducting a young man after beating him.

In the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Hanina, soldiers invaded the town, set up military roadblocks at its entrances, and abducted five young Palestinian workers from various parts of the West Bank.

Media sources have confirmed that more than 25 other workers were detained and abused before being released.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, soldiers abducted two Palestinians, including former prisoner Jihad Jawdat Jarar from the village of al-Hashimiyya, west of Jenin, and Khaled Fathi from the village of al-Kafriat to the south.

Homes were broken into and searched in the town of Jaba‘. The night before, forces invaded Qabatia, south of Jenin, breaking into several homes and conducting searches without reported abductions.

In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, and Salfit, in the central West Bank, similar invasions and home searches were reported, though no abductions were confirmed in these areas during the latest operations.

The repeated invasions, abductions, and colonizer violence underscore the ongoing escalation across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, leaving residents facing military repression, property destruction, and daily disruption under occupation.
