Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank on Friday, breaking into homes, installing military roadblocks, firing toxic tear gas, and abducting many Palestinians, including a journalist, in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem. Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers also carried out additional attacks under military protection.
Update: Israeli soldiers abducted Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the Popular Committees, and several detained several international reporters in Rajoum Ali area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted Abdullah Abu Kharoub, an employee of the Islamic Waqf Department, after breaking into his home in the Old City.
In addition, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner from Jerusalem, Emad Al-Abbasi, near the Chain Gate of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city while he was heading to the holy site for Friday prayers.
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Palestinian journalist Bushra al‑Tawil while she was passing through the ‘Ain Sinya military roadblock north of Ramallah.
Earlier in the morning, soldiers installed a military roadblock at the main entrance of the town of Sinjil, inspected residents’ ID cards, and searched vehicles, causing heavy traffic congestion.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, several Palestinians suffered suffocation from toxic tear gas when Israeli forces invaded the Balata refugee camp at dawn.
Medical sources with the Palestinian Red Crescent said residents in the al‑Hashashin neighborhood were unable to receive treatment after soldiers blocked ambulance crews from reaching them.
Local sources reported that soldiers broke into multiple homes, searched them, damaged their contents, and fired concussion grenades and toxic gas throughout the area.

Israeli forces also invaded the villages of al‑Lubban al‑Sharqiya, al‑Sawiya, and Burin, firing concussion grenades and gas bombs in al‑Lubban before withdrawing.
In Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Tayasir from the direction of the Tayasir military roadblock, deployed infantry units through several neighborhoods, and fired stun grenades.
Kamel Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society office in Tubas, said the soldiers abducted 22‑year‑old Yazan Fawaz Wahdan after stopping the vehicle in which he was traveling.
In Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the villages of Immatin and Jit, breaking into several homes and abducting seven Palestinians: Abboud Brea’, Ismail Brea’, Alaa’ Ghanem, Amro Ghanem, Hamza Ghanem and Hammam Sawan.
In the nearby village of Jayyous, soldiers broke into and searched the home of Mahmoud Ahmad Qaddoumi before abducting him.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Taffouh west of the city, breaking into the homes of Mohammad and Yazan Bakr Ezreiqat and abducting both brothers.
Soldiers also invaded the Jabal Jneid area of Hebron city, breaking into a home belonging to the al‑Fakhouri family.
Additional home invasions and property damage were reported in the towns of Sa’ir and al‑Shuyukh northeast of Hebron, after the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes.
In a related incident, groups of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the Tarousa area of Doura, southwest of Hebron, and performed religious rituals under the protection of Israeli forces.
The Israeli military claimed its forces abducted 60 Palestinians across the West Bank and alleged that soldiers “found weapons and combat materials.”
In related news, Israeli colonizers carried out multiple attacks on Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank on Friday, forcing shepherds from their grazing lands in the northern Jordan Valley, assaulting residents south of Nablus, and storming Bedouin and rural areas near occupied Jerusalem in what local communities describe as an ongoing campaign to terrorize them off their land.
Also, Israeli forces and colonizers attacked Palestinian farmers and their lands on Friday, abducting three Palestinians, destroying large areas of crops with chemical agents in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, and chasing residents off their land in Halhul.
