Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, three Palestinian young men in Jenin and Jericho, in the northern and northeastern parts of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday evening, a Palestinian young man at the “Dotan” military roadblock, established on the lands of the town of Ya’bad, west of the city.

Sources said that soldiers abducted Omar Majdi Obeidi, a resident of Zabuba village, west of Jenin, after stopping his vehicle as he attempted to pass through the roadblock.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces abducted, on Wednesday, Ali Jihad Abu Al-Assal, 35, according to the head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) office in Jericho.

Eid Brahma, the head of the Jericho PPS office, stated that Israeli forces abducted the son of the governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, who is married with five children.

Also in Jericho, the army set up, on Wednesday evening, a flying military roadblock at the northern entrance to the city, and abducted Hussam Abu Dahouk, a resident of Aqabat Jaber camp, south of Jericho.

In related news, the Israeli military occupied the rooftop of a three-storey home in the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, in the central part of the West Bank.

The home-owner, Naim Ribhi Asfour, said in a statement that the army stormed the home, which is close to the main road between Ramallah in the central part and Nablus in the northern part of the West Bank.

Asfour pointed out that the this is the second time in one week that soldiers invaded his home, using it as a military post, causing fear and anxiety among the children and others in the home.

Palestinian students at the Palestine Polytechnic University in Hebron, in the southern West Bank, confronted the army when the latter stormed the Wadi al-Hariyeh, al-Baladiyah, and Issa neighborhoods. No injuries were reported.

North of Hebron, Israeli forces, detained a young man at the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, and released him.
