In a clear act of collective punishment, Israeli forces detonated the family home of a wounded detainee in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

Media sources reported that occupation forces destroyed the apartment of the detainee Ahmad Abu Al-Rob in Qabatiya town, after engineering crews placed explosive charges inside it; the explosion caused damage to nearby houses.

On Tuesday night, a large army force invaded the town of Qabatiya, stormed many homes, while detaining and interrogating citizens, and forcibly evacuated a number of citizens from their homes.

It is important to mention that Ahmad Abu Ar-Rob allegedly carried out a car-ramming and stabbing attack in the Bisan area in northern Israel on December 26, 2025, killing two Israelis and injuring six others.

Abu Ar-Rob was shot and wounded at that time before he was abducted by Israeli police; he remains in Israeli custody.

In related news, Israeli forces demolished an under-construction home in the village of Dar Salah town, east of Bethlehem city in the southern West Bank.

Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers used heavy machinery to tear down the home of the citizen Mohammad Abu Teir in the “Al-Buqa’a” area, after invading the area and besieging the home.

The sources added that the occupation authorities claimed that the demolition was carried out under the pretext of building without a permit.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities conducted 538 demolition operations in 2025, affecting 1,400 homes and facilities.
