127 armed Israeli colonial settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam, on Sunday.

The colonial settlers invaded the holy site from the side of the Mughrabi Gate, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police. The colonial settlers carried out provocations targeting the Muslim worshippers. They conducted Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of the mosque, in addition to a number of them performing “epic prostration” near the doors of the mosque.

Israeli occupation police forces were deployed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, and the colonial settlers were allowed to storm the doors of the mosque.

While the invasion of the holy site was taking place, Muslim worshipers were prevented from entering the mosque.

Also Sunday, 15 Israeli paramilitary settlers attacked Palestinian residents’ vehicles with stones at the entrance to the village of Marda, north of Salfit. The Israeli paramilitary settlers carried out the attack after they closed the entrance to the village, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
