Israeli forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, early on Wednesday, breaking into homes, abducting Palestinians, and firing large quantities of tear gas in several towns and villages in the central, northern, and southern regions.
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Yabrud, northeast of the city in the central West Bank, where troops fired numerous tear gas canisters during their presence in the area, wounding two Palestinians.
It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday night, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers stole several sheep during an attack carried out against the village of Yabrud.
Local sources said a group of colonizers moved toward the outskirts of the village, vandalized agricultural rooms and livestock shelters, and destroyed property belonging to local residents before seizing several sheep owned by families in the area.
The sources added that the colonizers also fired live rounds toward residents, while Israeli forces invaded the area and opened fire to secure the colonizers’ withdrawal. No injuries were reported.
Forces also invaded the nearby town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, and later entered the villages of Deir Dibwan and Abu Falah, north of Ramallah, breaking into several homes.
In addition, Israeli forces fired tear gas and illumination rounds as colonizers simultaneously attacked the “al-Qurna” area in the agricultural plain of the town of Turmus Ayya, also north of Ramallah.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces broke into homes in the Ein al-Louza neighborhood of Silwan and abducted a young man, Suhaib al-A’war, after ransacking his family’s property and damaging its contents.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Anwar Hamdi ed-Deek after breaking into his home in the southern area of Hebron city.
Also in Hebron city, soldiers, accompanied by a bulldozer, invaded a neighborhood and stormed a home for Salhab family before forcing the residents to evacuate the property in preparation for demolishing it.
Furthermore, troops abducted Mohammad Bassam al-Allami during an invasion of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Additional invasions were reported in the towns of Ethna, west of Hebron, and Halhul, north of the city, where soldiers broke into multiple homes.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Nasser Arayshi after breaking into his home in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus. Troops also invaded the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, where they carried out widespread home invasions and additional abductions.
In Jenin, in northern West Bank, a group of Israeli colonizers invaded the outskirts of Raba village, southeast of the city and marched near Palestinian homes.
In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Ektaba neighborhood east of Tulkarem, firing stun grenades in the al-Mahjar area of the Noor Shams refugee camp.
These invasions and attacks come amid an ongoing escalation across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers continue to target Palestinian communities with increasing frequency.
