A Palestinian youth was killed in the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Thursday after stabbing and killing an Israeli settler and seriously injuring a security guard.

According to an initial Israeli report  the Palestinian youth jumped the settlement of Kiryat Arba’  fence located in Hebron before entering a home and stabbed the 13-year-old girl while she was still asleep in her bed.

The Palestinian Health identified the youth as 17 year old Mohamed Tarayra, meanwhile Israeli sources identified the slain Israeli child as Hallel Ariel, 13.
