Israeli soldiers shot and injured, on Wednesday evening, three young Palestinian men, and abducted one, after the army assaulted nonviolent protesters marching near Qalandia terminal, north of occupied East Jerusalem. The Palestinians were marching against the ongoing closure, and severe restrictions, imposed by the Israeli army on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The soldiers assaulted the protesters, leading to clashes, before the army fired many live rounds, wounding three young men, in addition to firing gas bombs, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation. The soldiers also abducted a young Palestinian man, and took him to an unknown destination.
Elsewhere, Many Palestinian and international peace activists held, on Wednesday afternoon, a nonviolent protest, north of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, demanding Israel to lift its siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and to remove the electronic gates, before the soldiers assaulted them and abducted one Palestinian and one international peace activist.
Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Wednesday, seven Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank governorates of Bethlehem, Nablus and Jenin, including two who were abducted on military roadblocks.
Moreover, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, several Palestinian communities in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, searched homes and abducted three Palestinians in Hebron city and Beit Ummar town, in addition to installing roadblocks near various surrounding towns.
In addition, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, the villages of Deir Ghassana and Nabi Saleh, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, attacked several Palestinians in their homes, before abducting three young men. Soldiers attacked the detainees families casing injuries among family members.
