Israeli bulldozers invade lands in Gaza meanwhile Palestinian political detainees implement a hunger strike. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
A number of armored Israeli military vehicles invaded, on Wednesday morning, Palestinian agricultural lands, east of Rafah city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Eyewitnesses said four armored bulldozers advanced nearly 50 meters into Palestinian lands, between Rafah and Khan Younis.
They added that the vehicles came from the Sofa military base, advanced approximately 50 meters, and bulldozed lands close to the border fence. The invasion is part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians and their lands in the besieged coastal region.
Elsewhere, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, the town of Beit Ummar, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, searched several homes and kidnapped two Palestinians.
Moreover, five residents from the same family were kidnapped by Israeli soldiers after they stopped their car at a military checkpoint in northern West Bank.
According to eyewitnesses, a Palestinian young woman and four of her relatives were driving their car and trying to cross Al Jalam Israeli military checkpoint north of Jenin city, when troops stopped and searched the car then took all five to unknown location.
In other news, 50 Palestinian political prisoners held by Israeli started on Wednesday hunger strike the Palestinian Political Prisoners Society, PPS, reported.
The prisoners protest move comes in solidarity with hunger striking political detainees Mohamed and Mahmoud al Balboul in addition to Malak Al Qadi, who are on hunger strike since July 2016.
The three are protesting ill-treatment by their captives and the administrative detention policy used the Israel. Under administrative orders Israel holds Palestinians for longer periods of time without charges or trial.
