Israeli navy attack fishers off Gaza coastline, meanwhile a Palestinian man injured during a knife attack by Israeli settlers. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Israeli Navy ships opened fire, on Monday morning, targeting a number of fishing boats in Palestinian territorial waters, in the northern part of improvised Gaza Strip. Eyewitnesses said navy fired many live rounds at the boats, and used water cannons, forcing the fisher back to shore. They added that the attack took place less than four nautical miles from the Gaza shore.

At least 70.000 Palestinians depend on fishing as their only source of livelihood in the Gaza Strip, but the navy continuously attacks the fishers, preventing them from providing for their families. Such attacks also led to many casualties, including fatalities, dozens of arrested, in addition to the high costs of repairing the boats, while many boats are illegally confiscated by the navy.

Also on Monday morning, Israeli soldiers, stationed at military towers across the border fence, fired several live rounds targeting a number of homes and agricultural lands, and maintenance workers, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported.

Elsewhere, A number of extremist Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian from Silwan town with a knife, and beat him with clubs, while he was passing Bar Elan Street, in Jerusalem, Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported Monday.  26-year-old Moahmmed Razem was injured in his thigh, as settlers attacked him with a knife, in addition to some bruises, and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Moreover, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, ‘Awarta and Talfit villages, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, searched a few homes and kidnapped two Palestinians. The soldiers also kidnapped one Palestinian in Bethlehem after searching homes there.

In the meantime, a number of Israeli military jeeps invaded, on Monday at dawn, Surif town, northwest of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, searched homes and kidnapped two Palestinians.
