Four workers killed in Gaza tunnel, meanwhile in the West Bank more than two dozen civilians kidnapped by Israeli troops. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Israeli soldiers abducted, overnight and on earlier Monday, at least twenty-three Palestinians, including nine children between the ages of nine and fifteen, during massive invasions and searches of homes in different parts of the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

In Jerusalem, the soldiers searched homes and abducted 10 civilians during searches of homes in different parts of the city.

In Al-Jiftlik town, in the Jericho Governorate, the soldiers abducted four siblings, and later released three of them, and took the fourth to a detention and interrogation center.

Four more civilians were taken from their homes from Jenin Governorate, in the northern part of the West Bank, local sources reported.

In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted five Palestinians including Anas Bilal Natsha, 16, who was injured after the soldiers assaulted him in his home.

In Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted a  young man, from Beit Fajjar town, south of the city, after invading his home and searching it. In addition, the soldiers abducted a man from Silwad town in the Ramallah Governorate, in central West Bank, as he was crossing the al-Karama border crossing with Jordan, on his way back home.

In other news, the Hamas movement condemned on Monday the Egyptian Army’s flodding of a tunnel at the borders which led to the death of four tunnel workers on Sunday.

Last week Egyptian troops started flooding the tunnels on the Gaza-Egypt with sea water, four tunnel workers went missing and were found dead on Sunday.

Since Israeli placed the coastal enclave under siege in 2007, the tunnels became the main sources of the much needed food, medicine, and fuel supplies to the 2 million residents of the Gaza Strip.

For the past nine years many workers have lost their lives during Israeli attacks targeting those tunnels or work related accidents.
