A Palestinian child died of serious gunshot wounds, on Saturday, after Israeli forces shot and abducted him near the town of Tal, southwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, Saturday evening, that the 14-year-old child, Yazan Majdi Munir Akobi, had succumbed to a serious injury inflicted on him by the Israeli army earlier in the day.
On Saturday afternoon, occupation soldiers stationed at the “Al-Murabba’a” military roadblock near Tal town, shot Akobi with live ammunition causing serious injuries.
The soldiers did not allow the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews to approach, denying the critically wounded child medical intervention.
The army proceeded to abduct the wounded child, taking him to an unknown location, later announcing that he had succumbed to his injuries.
Also on Saturday, another Palestinian child succumbed to serious wounds inflicted on him in October, when Israeli soldiers shot him during a military invasion into the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
