A young Palestinian man died on Wednesday evening from serious wounds he suffered Monday after Israeli soldiers shot him in Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot the Palestinian, Fahim Ahmad Fahim Khatib, 25, with a live round in the abdomen when the army invaded Ramallah.

It added that the young man, a married father of one child, only two years of age, was admitted to surgery at Palestine Medical Complex in the city and remained in the Intensive Care Unit until her succumbed to his serious wounds.

In related news, the soldiers shot three young men with live fire in Aboud village, west of Ramallah, after several army vehicles invaded it, causing mild-to-moderate wounds, and closed the iron gate at the village’s main entrance.

Two of the Palestinians were shot in the legs, and one suffered a shrapnel injury to his back, medical sources said.

On Monday evening, Israeli forces assassinated three young Palestinian men, Youssef Ali Al-Khouli, 22, Ahed Salman Musa, 23, and Tariq Amjad Shaheen, 24, in the Iktaba suburb northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank and abducted two others, one of whom was injured.

The Health Ministry the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, to 342, including children.

In the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 23.357 Palestinians and injured more than 59.410, largely women and children, after the army killed more than and wounded 241 in less than 24 hours. (The figures do not include the dozens of slain Palestinians and the wounded on Wednesday night).

The Health Ministry in Gaza said the army “committed 14 massacres against families in Gaza, killing more than 200 Palestinians, including women and children, and wounding dozens, in 24 hours.
