A Palestinian resident of Khirbet Ibzeiq, was ordered by the Israeli military government, Wednesday, to remove a room and a balcony built on his own land as well as olive trees, the Palestinian News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
The land, located north of the city of Tubas, in the Jordan Valley, northern occupied West Bank, is found in Area C, under full Israeli military rule.
Ibrahim Mjalli, who received the order, said he was ordered by the army to remove a room, a balcony with metal roofing and a number of olive trees planted in his land, under the pretext that they are located in Area C.
Israel does not allow Palestinians to develop Area C, which makes up more than 60% of the area of the occupied West Bank. With the intent to annex this area, Israel would effectively render an independent Palestinian state, impossible.
