Israeli forces, accompanying illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, shot and killed, on Saturday, a Palestinian man who was one of several Palestinians who intercepted the paramilitary colonizers when they invaded Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfit in the central part of the occupied West Bank
On Saturday afternoon illegal Israeli colonizers, under the full protection of occupation soldiers, attacked the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfit, prompting the Palestinians to intercept the attack to protect their homes and property.
Medical sources announced that Ahmad Mostafa Aasi, 38, a married father of six, was shot with live ammunition while trying to defend the land against the colonizers.
They s added that Israeli forces left the man bleeding, while preventing medical teams or citizens from approaching him.
Israeli forces opened fire with live rounds towards Palestinian citizens while they were confronting the illegal colonists’ invasion, injuring two and killing Assi.
Media sources said that the colonizers set fire to the home of Palestinian citizen, Shaher Mar’i, in addition to another resident’s vehicle, and attacked several homes in the “Al-Ras” area, west of the town.
In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers, on Saturday, razed Palestinian-owned lands in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to local resident, Muhammad Abu Thabet, illegal Israeli settlers, under the full protection of the occupation army, leveled lands using bulldozers, east of the village, while firing live ammunition at Palestinian citizens who attempted to protect their land.
On Saturday evening, another group of illegal settlers attacked a Palestinian-owned home and burned a vehicle in the village of Madama, south of Nablus.
According to Wajih Kat, head of the Madama village council, illegal colonizers attacked the citizen, Yasser Kat, hurled rocks at him, and set fire to his vehicle, destroying it.
