Medical sources in the devastated coastal enclave have reported that patients and injured Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, remain unable to receive treatment, leading to fatalities without any medical assistance, due to Israel’s ongoing bombing and deadly siege.
The sources highlighted that the healthcare system in the northern governorate has been severely damaged and devastated, especially over the past 15 days.
They further stated that Israel is systematically destroying the entire northern Gaza Strip and “committing acts of massacre and genocide against its population.”
Hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip are overwhelmed and unable to provide adequate medical care due to the high number of casualties and fatalities, and the lack of medical supplies.
The facilities have exceeded their capacities, and a triage system is being implemented to manage the influx of patients.
Additionally, hospital nurseries are filled to capacity, leaving no space for newborns or premature infants, resulting in the postponement of some cesarean deliveries.
All Intensive Care Units are full, there is no space for additional cases, and no other means to deal with the increasing influx of patients and wounded Palestinians.

Medical sources have raised alarms about the critical shortage of medications and medical supplies in hospitals across the northern Gaza Strip, posing a significant threat to the lives of the local population.
For the fifteenth consecutive day, the Israeli occupation army has besieged 200,000 residents, depriving them of food, water, and medical care in the northern Gaza Strip, amidst constant bombardments, the destruction of homes, and attacks on schools that serve as shelters for displaced individuals, all part of the ongoing campaign of genocide in the region.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which has killed at least 42,438 Palestinians and the injury of 99,246 others, the majority of whom are children and women, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of people are still missing under the rubble.
Among the slain Palestinians are at least 16,927 children, 11,487 women, 2,419 elderly people, 175 journalists, eighty-five emergency responders, 986 medical staff, and 203 UNRWA staff.
The British Lancet Medical Journal and other experts estimate the death toll in Gaza is much higher – and could be above 200,000, when counting both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza.
