On Friday, Israeli forces wounded fifteen Palestinian citizens during a demonstration held between the town of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarem, and the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that the occupation forces suppressed a demonstration in rejection of the attempts by illegal Israeli colonizers to establish a new colonial outpost on Palestinian lands in the area.
The sources added that occupation soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, and tear gas canisters at the participants, in addition to chasing and assaulting a number of citizens.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews provided medical treatment to 15 citizens.
The PRCS added that one citizen sustained a live gunshot wound, 2 citizens sustained various injuries as a result of assault, and 12 were treated for inhalation injuries caused by tear gas exposure.
Media sources said that the demonstration was organized by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, coordinated with the Kufur Qaddoum and Beit Lid municipalities, the Fatah movement, and popular resistance committees.
