Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday evening, a young Palestinian man from Tubas city, in northeastern West Bank, while he was crossing a military roadblock in the Northern Plains.

The head of Tubas office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Kamal Bani Odah, said the soldiers abducted Yousef Jamal Sawafta, while crossing the al-Hamra military roadblock, in the West Bank’s Northern Plains.

The soldiers stopped and searched many Palestinian cars, and interrogated the residents while inspecting their ID cards.

In addition, the soldiers closed the Qalandia roadblock, north of Jerusalem, preventing the Palestinians from leaving or entering Jerusalem or Ramallah through it.
