Israeli forces abducted at least seven Palestinian citizens, on Tuesday, including a former prisoner, in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday afternoon, occupation forces abducted a Palestinian young man from his workplace in the city of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, Israeli soldiers abducted the former prisoner, Kamal Jamal Daraghmeh from his workplace in Jericho.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Balata refugee camp, east of the city of Nablus, carried out acts of sabotage, and abducted one Palestinian young man.


Media sources said that occupation soldiers stormed the Balata camp, at dawn Tuesday, accompanied by a military bulldozer, in addition to invading the Al-Ein refugee camp, and abducted an unidentified young man in the eastern region of the city.


Sources added that a military bulldozer caused damage in the Balata camp, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds and concussion grenades; no injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and Al-Biereh, Israeli forces invaded several towns and villages on Tuesday morning; no abductions were reported.

Media sources said that on Tuesday morning, occupation soldiers invaded and searched the homes of Osama Jamal Shalash, 40, in the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, and Muhammad Saber Al-Lahham, 35, in the town of Al-Khader, south of the city, before abducting them.

Furthermore, in the morning, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinian young men from different parts of the Hebron governorate, in the southern West Bank.

Media sources said that soldiers invaded the town of Bani Na’im, Halhul, and Doura, in the governorate, and abducted Mohammad Jamil Ziadat, Mohammad Abu Rayyan, and Bater Sharif Abu Zneid.

According to the Commission of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 10,200 citizens from the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the protracted military assault on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2024.

The statement added that the data does not include the number of those abducted from the Gaza Strip, the number of whom is estimated to be in the thousands.
