On Monday dawn, dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes in the Al-Isawiya and Hizma town, in occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, abducted six Palestinians, including a child, and distributed leaflets threatening entire families.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded several neighborhoods in Al-Isawiya, before storming and ransacking dozens of homes, causing damage.
They added that the soldiers abducted Zein Mhanna, 16, Mohammad Ma’moun Mheisin, Mohammad Mahmoud Atiya and Amir Abu Sneina.
During the invasion, the soldiers posted and distributed leaflets, warning the Palestinians of “severe punishment and restrictions,” especially young men and their parents if they continued the protests, especially during the upcoming month of Ramadan.
The threats include even more restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshippers to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In Hizma town, northeast of Jerusalem, the soldiers stormed and searched a few homes before abducting Mohammad Abdul-Hamid Khatib and Mohammad Wahid Khatib.
It is worth mentioning that, a week earlier, the army distributed similar leaflets and threatening messages during an invasion of the Jabal Al-Mokabber, southeast of Jerusalem.
In related news, the soldiers and the police installed roadblocks on roads leading to Al-Ezariya and Abu Dis towns, stopped and searched dozens of cars and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said the army closed the streets to all Palestinian traffic between 6 and 9 in the morning while searching the cars.
In related news, the soldiers abducted dozens of Palestinians from Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Earlier Monday, Medical sources in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, have confirmed the death of a young man who was seriously injured when Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians and injured fifteen, last Thursday, February 22, 2024.
The sources said the young Palestinian man Majdi Awad Nabhan, suffered serious wounds when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a car in the Jenin refugee camp, in Jenin.
